Welcome to Giles Photography & The Frame Works • Eau Claire, Wisconsin
|We understand how important these portraits are to you, your new spouse and your families. The day of your wedding and the weeks before it can be stressful, but don't worry about the photography, we will take care of that for you. Below are just a few hints to help you get the best possible wedding portraits.
Plan. It will help a lot if you plan ahead and keep things on schedule so that when you come to the studio you won't be behind schedule. We don't want you to feel rushed and we certainly don't want to rush you either.
Relax. We know that it sounds easier than it sometimes is. You will enjoy the session and have mch better portraits if you are relaxed.
Don't. If you are coming to the studio after the wedding, please come directly to the studio without stopping for a drink or a snack. Why take the chance of getting your wedding dress or tux soiled with a spill. We had a bride years ago that was hungry so they stopped and someone ran into a store and picked up a candy bar for her. You guessed it, part of the chocolate fell on her dress and she didn't know it. It happened to be a very, very hot day and it melted and left a huge soiled area on her dress that wouldn't come out before we had to take the photos. The poses had to be done in a very different way so that we could hide the chocolate.
Arrive on time. We operate by appointment only. We recommend that you arrive approximately 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment. This way if you have any children in your wedding party, they will have time to adjust to the studio environment. Again, if you arrive late and are rushed, it will be detrimental to the overall quality of your portraits.
